SUSAN HARVARD ART

Susan Harvard is an abstract expressionist artist living in Thomasville, Georgia. Susan labels herself a self-taught artist but follows that quickly with the assertion that her art actually educates her. Working in a variety of mediums, she frequently uses acrylic, oil, charcoal and ink in mixed media pieces. Susan chooses color palettes that are soothing and often unexpected; she enjoys the relationship that forms between colors, and plays off of that as each piece develops in depth, tone and texture. Drawn to the juxtaposition of traditional and contemporary, Susan enjoys working with clients who are seeking to add that touch of "new" to their existing interior space. Her process frees her to pour out her inspiration, individuality and spontaneity.
